quality fixtureswell thought out spacesmeg applianceconfusing signage
i found the space well thought out. The room had everything i needed. the accommodation was very well equipped. i greatly appreciated the quality appliances in the room, smeg brand for example.
Directions were good until arrival at the complex. It is a large complex with hotels, restaurants, a store, and housing, so it can be a little confusing. the signage to the hotel isn't very clear, which caused some initial confusion.

Location

the hotel benefits from its location in a quiet area. i noted it is near public transport. access to the city center seemed straightforward using the available bus routes and park and ride options.

the one bedroom suite included a kitchenette with a dishwasher and washer/dryer. a restaurant onsite allowed options for self-catering. the staff were friendly and helpful (that's always a plus).
the checkout involved an untrained staff member, which detracted from the overall positive experience.

the massive bed was comfortable. i appreciated being upgraded to an apartment from a suite and it had all the facilities we needed.
the light above the mirror in the bathroom wasn't working, so i couldn't shave properly. the rooms seemed tired for the price, especially given its supposed to be a 4 star hotel. i would not recommend it due to these issues.

Satisfactory Stay with Minor Issues

The location is convenient. It is situated in a modern part of town. Open spaces are available, offering nice walks. I found a supermarket almost next door. The staff were excellent and helpful (I really appreciated this).
I found that the air conditioning was unbelievably noisy, disturbing my sleep. I tried to resolve it myself using the wall panel, but it was no use. The anonymous WhatsApp assistant told me no one could make the room noise-free, disappointing. I did not find the mattress comfortable at all.

Fantastic Hotel with Great Amenities

easy accessnearby conveniencevery nice foodsmart tv
I found this hotel to be a wonderful choice, with easy access to the city center and many nearby conveniences. I enjoyed eating and drinking at the bars and restaurants, just a short walk away from the hotel. The Astronomer restaurant offered very nice food. The cocktail bar onsite was a great spot for an evening drink, and the rooftop bar provided lovely views. It was beneficial that the hotel included a smart TV, complete with apps and Chromecast for streaming.
The parking fee was a bit high at ÂŁ15 per night, but I discovered there was free street parking available overnight. The parking situation required some planning, but it ultimately saved a bit of money.
Service
9/10
Staff members were incredibly kind and helpful; they ensured I had everything I needed. The reception was available 24 hours, offering assistance whenever I required it. I received prompt responses to my inquiries.
Rooms
9/10
The studio was fully equipped with an iron, a hairdryer, and a kitchen containing all necessary items. High-quality toiletries were provided, including plenty of towels. I particularly liked the dimmed lighting, which created a sophisticated atmosphere.
Facilities
8/10
A Sainsburys and several cafes were located right next door, so it was easy to pick up necessities. There was convenient street parking available, which was free during the evenings and overnight. I used the washer and dryer in the self-service apartment.
